FASHION

      The word fashion is usually related to dress but it is also related to manner and way of behavior. Fashion is the word which covers every possible craze of particular age in a sophisticated glamour. When handsome and charming a lord byorn, who walked with a limp, it become a fashion all over England. With fast growing consumerist culture – every thing which is advertised in a glamorous and charming manner – becomes a fashion. For example, the advertisement of ice- creams, chocolates are so attractive that nowadays days it becomes fashion to have it in elegantly decorated product to attract people.

          During the independence struggles, it was a fashion to ware kadhi, but now a days it is fashion to ware western cloths, use of queer mixture has become a fashion this days. Since the fashion keeps changing, it expands our area of wants and desires. It is not a bad thing to be influenced by any fashion but one should always try to find out the logic behind fashion.

a letter

We generally communicate with our relatives, friends and other living at distant place by writing letters to them. It is in fact impossible to lay down any absolute rule about how letters should be written. Personal letters, more particularly, is an individual matter and depends largely on the personal’s personality writing the letter.

More often personal letter is filled with slag’s and vernacular phases. That makes the letter more interesting to read. But now the fraction of letter posted is less due to the email service. Some thing flows in our way while we spend time to write a letter than a email to express some thing.

think big to grow big

When we say some thing or perform any action. It gives a reflection of our thoughts. First man things and then he acts accordingly. Hence the importance of thinking big is quite evident. A man’s success is not measured by his wealth or residence but by his thinking. So think like a winner if you want to win in any field of life. Simply gazing at the sky won’t take one to the sky.

So if we want to achieve big success. We must start thinking big. We must always remember - thoughts are things. Positive thoughts are most power full things of the world. But big or positive must be followed by positive actions.

The History Of Horror Movies

 Do you no that early horror movies were largely based on classic literature of the gothic/ horror genre. Horror films have been criticized for their graphic violence and dismissed as low budget B-movies and exploitation films. And to your knowledge the first depictions of supernatural events appear in several of the silent shorts created by film pioneers, Georges Melies in the late 1890s. But the most notable was his 1896 Le Manoir du diable ("The House of the Devil") which is sometimes credited as being the first horror film. Do you believe this it is true. From there on the making of horror movies has become common. Some horror films are corporate elements of   science fiction, fantasy, documentary, black comedy, and thrillers and the combination of fun and action too.

Who are they?

The fireman specially trained to fight fire. Every day they go to the fire station. They work day and night. The fire engineers I fire station have tanks with about thousand liters of water and all that equipments need to put out a fire when a fire breaks out the man in watch room gets  the message from the fire control room and immediately passes it on to the leading fireman. The others fireman step-in their uniform and get in to the fire engine. In a few seconds the bright monster roars out of the fire station and rushes to the fire. This means that we have to attend all problems big or small, immediately. Especially smaller problems are more dangerous. Little things must be attended to at once. We know that a battle has been lost for want of nail in the horse shoe. A virus destroys a whole humanity. A dust particle cans loss for several lakes. If we do not mend the cloth or shoe at once it will give way for further repair and even cause death to the wearer. So we must be prompt in solving problems and doing our work.

All that glitters are not gold

It means that we should not take in to account one’s outward appearances. Nothing can be taken at its face value. An office in posh building runs a chit company and collects lakes and lakes of rupees from public. It promises them a great dividend for their amount. One day it cheats the public. People who crazy for job in gulf countries believe that sweet words of the agents and lose their money. Gilded ornaments are more shinning than real gold ones. Appearances are deceptive. Many ladies been widowed for having victim to such cheats.

Migrate in winter - Birds

Why do birds migrate? They are not directly affected by the cold because of their feather covering and warm blood. But in winter getting food is not easy. So they migrate. In cold countries snow lies thick on the ground in winter and even lakes and rives are frozen over. The winter is such that birds will not be able to catch either insect of fish. If they do not migrate they will perish. During the cold season night are long, days are short and the time available for search food is short.

the child is the father of the man

The seed for becoming good or bad is sown in child hood. Manhood is the development of childhood. If a child is bought up in a proper way he will become a responsible citizen later on. A bad element   in children will grow and revel in large measure in adulthood. When we study the lives of great people or writers poets, we can understand how their childhood had helped them to attain such a great level in life. So it is always more important to concentrate on children on there young age to make him a great individual in all respect to the society.

Make Hay While The Sunshines

It means that one should make use of the opportunity for one’s progress in life. A student has to make use of his lifetime for his education and future career. If he cannot study at the proper age there is no use of feeling sorry after wards. A farmer should carryout his work only in proper season. Any skill can be learnt or acquired only during the youth. The young should learn many things from the elder when they are alive. Always keep in mind opportunity knocks that door only ones, make the fullest of it.

A bird in the hands is worth two in the bush

Greed is the root of all evils. Edwin Muir says in his poem ‘castle’ that we have arms to protect a castle but no arms to root out there desire for gold. We should lead a happy and contented life we must learn to live with what we have. We must not use unfair means to earn more money and spoil our life. The most religion says god will take away what he has given. So we have no hold on anything in the world. Our life is temporary in this earth. We must learn to laugh away our worries. God has created this earth for joy. So every one must lead a contented life ,Live for the moment .

A rolling stone gathers no moss

It means if people do not stick to certain good principles and change their mind from time to time they cannot understand life and enjoy. A stone in water gathers moss but that which rolls in it gathers nothing. Likewise a man who jumps from one job to another several times cannot learn anything and leads a contented life. A scientist gets success because he is continuously and constantly at his work. He is able to find a solution to a problem. Hasty mind will never succeed. So thing before you act makes a good and better living.
